About the event
Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a free, community-wide event held in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. This powerful and lighthearted walk encourages men to grab a pair of heels and take a stand in support of sexual assault survivors, helping spark conversation, raise awareness, and show solidarity.
The event will begin at KRAVe Frozen Yogurt and Drink Shoppee in Ludington, MI, where participants are encouraged to grab a treat or beverage before the walk—KRAVe will generously donate a portion of their proceeds from the day to support COVE’s survivor services. From there, we will walk through downtown Ludington, ending at Legacy Plaza, where attendees can connect with community resources and hear from guest speakers committed to supporting survivors and strengthening our community.
